We now have cameras on our highways, in our towns, and cities. The explanation for these cameras is to keep our roads safer for everyone. We adults who take a written and driving test to be able to get behind the wheel of a car now have to be monitored to make sure we are doing it right.
The fact is we are adults and we have to be watched to make sure we aren't driving too fast, driving too slow, following all of the road signs, and stopping at all red lights.
Each and every day some of us put our children on a school bus, with no seat belts, even though in our personal cars we are made to put our children in a seat belt. I have no problem with that and feel the children are safer with a safety device in place. So why then don't school buses have seat belts?
what bothers me most of all is....We send our children off to school being watched by our city, town, or state cameras but once they walk into most public school we are never quite sure what is going on throughout the day until our child comes home and tells us how their day went.
It is my goal to raise enough money to have what I believe would transform our public schools into the best education on the planet, Classroom Cameras. If you want to see our education standards rise in the United States place a camera in every classroom in America!! Camera technology is a cheap device to ensure that our teachers are teaching, our children are learning, and our classrooms are safe for our children. As a daycare provider I use a camera to record our activities during the day and it not only makes my parents feel they are leaving their children in a safe environment but gives them the opportunity to check in when they have a moment during their work day..
